This policy applies to the GEMMY HOLOGRAM mobile application and its related functions on iOS devices. This application is used to connect to compatible GEMMY HOLOGRAM holographic display devices and perform operations such as content uploading, playback control, playlist management, custom text input, device settings, and local media processing.
02Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, this application may process the following information:
| Information type | Examples | Purpose of use |
|---|---|---|
| Local network and device connection information | Device IP, port, connection status, Wi-Fi status, device return information, device file list. | To discover or connect to compatible devices, and send local control commands such as playback, upload, settings, and reading lists. |

03iOS Permission Instructions
Local Network Permission
This application requires local network permission to establish a connection when your phone and the GEMMY HOLOGRAM device are in the same Wi-Fi or device hotspot environment, and to send control commands such as playback, playlist, upload, custom text, and device settings.
Wi-Fi/Location Related Access
In some system versions or functional scenarios, the system may require granting location-related permissions to read the Wi-Fi connection status or identify the device hotspot. This application only uses this permission to identify and connect to the GEMMY HOLOGRAM device hotspot. We do not track your actual geographical location, nor do we upload your location information.
Photo, Media, and Camera Permissions
When you select pictures, videos, or use the shooting function, this application will request photo, media, or camera permissions. We only process the content you actively select or shoot, for local preview, cropping, conversion, and uploading to the connected device.
04How We Use Information
- Connect to, identify, and control compatible GEMMY HOLOGRAM devices.
- Convert the pictures or videos you select into a format supported by the device, and upload them via the local network.
- Read and display the device file list, playback status, or device response.
- Save necessary local upload records, configurations, and temporary files to display progress or improve processing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot errors during connection, upload, or playback.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, and protect the security of the application, devices, and users.
05Information Storage and Transmission
The core processing of this application is usually completed locally on your phone. The media content you select is processed locally and transmitted to your connected GEMMY HOLOGRAM device via a local TCP/LAN connection. According to the current project configuration, this application does not enable the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not enable uni statistics, and does not collect your information for advertising tracking purposes.
Upload records, temporary files, or caches may be saved locally on your device. You can delete related local data through in-app functions, system storage management, clearing the cache, or uninstalling the application. For content already uploaded to the hardware device, please manage it through the device's supported deletion, cleaning, or formatting functions.
07Third-Party SDKs and Components
This application is developed based on the uni-app/DCloud runtime environment and uses related system or component capabilities such as local network, Wi-Fi, video playback, photo/media selection, camera, and local media processing. Some media processing capabilities may use local FFmpeg-related components. The above capabilities are mainly used to complete application functions locally on your device.
If we integrate statistics, crash analysis, cloud services, advertising, or other third-party SDKs in the future, we will update this policy according to applicable requirements and obtain your consent when necessary.
08Information Retention
We retain relevant information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this policy. Local temporary files and caches will be deleted or become unavailable after processing, uploading, cleaning, or uninstalling the application. The retention period caused by system cache strategy, device storage mechanism, or hardware device storage may be determined by your device system or hardware device.
09Your Choices and Controls
- You can manage this application's permissions for local network, photos, camera, location, etc. in iOS "Settings".
- You can choose not to provide certain permissions, but corresponding functions may not be available, such as being unable to select media, connect to devices, or upload content.
- You can delete local upload records, clear the app cache, or uninstall the app to remove data saved locally on your phone.
- For content uploaded to the hardware device, please use the deletion, cleaning, or formatting functions provided by the application or device to manage it.
10Minor's Privacy
This application is not intended to provide services to minors exclusively. Minors should use this application under the consent and guidance of their parents or other guardians. If a guardian believes that a minor has provided inappropriate information to this application, they can contact us through the methods listed in this policy.
11Security Measures
We will take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the application, such as processing media content locally as much as possible, limiting the scope of information processing, using system permission controls, and only sending necessary data to the devices you connect to. However, please understand that no network transmission and local device environment can guarantee absolute security. You should properly manage device hotspots, passwords, and local network access permissions.
12Policy Updates
We may update this policy due to functional changes, system requirements, laws and regulations, or App Store review requirements. The updated policy will be displayed in the application or on the relevant page and will take effect from the marked effective date. If the update involves significant changes to rights and interests, we will prompt you in a reasonable manner within the scope required by applicable laws.
